Free Pattern: Amish Puzzle Balls

AMISH puzzle balls

Create a crochet Amish Puzzle Ball. I’ve found you a free pattern.

If you noticed yesterday, I posted a photo of an Octopus done by a fan for Crochet-Arium.

Truth is, I’ve never seen or heard of anything like this before. I have definitely missed the boat somewhere.

I did some searching for you and found a free pattern with some extra inspiration to boot!

Dedri Uys of has provided written pattern and photographic follow along. She makes it easy.

Dedri has a mini photo gallery above the pattern. I love all of the patterns she is showing. The dinosaur is heart melting, the elephant is phenomenal and who can resist the rhino to name a few.

Get the Free Amish Puzzle Ball Pattern and see photographically how it is crocheted and assembled. I am so tempted to do a few of these for crochet-arium. They look like a lot of fun!

    Hi Mikey. Dedri here from

Thank you so much for linking to the pattern. I am a huge fan and I am chuffed to bits by your link (and by the mention in your newsletter). I would like to contact you regarding the animal puzzles, but I can’t seem to find a contact form.

If I hear from you, great. If I don’t, I will understand that you’re incredibly busy. Take care and thank you again
