The ‘Amazing’ Topiary Trees, 50% off Lion Brand Yarn

Lion Brand Amazing Tree

Amazing Yarn for My Amazing Topiary Tree

I learned last week that Lion Brand has a 50% Discount Yarn Shop on their website. I had no idea and when I was shown the link, I was flabbergasted on the prices. My contact at Lion Brand said to me that due to the Lion Brand Website being so large, most people don’t even know it’s there. See the 50% Discount Section of Lion Brand.

The Amazing Yarn by Lion Brand is another favourite of mine. Each skein runs nearly $10 per ball! The skeins are being sold in bags of 3 and under $15! I am like, “What…. Are you kidding me! You don’t even need a coupon to shop… you just need to know where to look!!”

The team at Lion Brand just laughs along with me as they know I am hog crazy over yarn. Yeeee Hawwww!

Lion Brand Amazing Topiary Tree

I wrote a pattern, which included diagrams… and of course a video tutorial for my Amazing Tree. Get the Amazing Tree Free Pattern. I have found that the Lion Brand Amazing yarn is really fresh and unusual in the colour line. It makes for great decor and accenting projects. I could do the tree with the same yarn and the tree can look slightly different without much effort.

My tree stands 15″ tall. You can make it bigger or smaller depending on your commitment of the idea. You will be able to see how to make your yarn go further by only using the ‘good stuff’ for the exterior. My original tree was designed for fall but there are about 20 colours of the Lion Brand Amazing to play with. Just note that only select colours, if available, are 50% off. The Cactus Flower colorway looks tempting!

One thing that appeals to me, plus appeals to hundreds of crocheters is the idea itself. If you have someone ‘stuck’ in an retirement facility where space is extremely limited. This is a decor item that can be added to the decor without taking too much space. I also did a Spring Version that has been rammed with dollar store ornaments. It was highly popular at live shows too. I will put a video for that below too!

If you are looking for something fun and unique. Check out these trees to customize for yourself. The only limit is your imagination. Happy Hook’n!

I am exited with your patterns I love them wish you all the best

  2. When the Lion Brand website runs free-shipping or 20% off promotions, it applies to their clearance yarns, too. I took advantage of one such 20% off promotion to pick up 3-packs of LB Fun, Jiffy, Vanna’s Choice and Vanna’s Choice Baby yarns back in November. There’s usually a $35 min. purchase requirement to get the promotional discount — but if one is ordering project quantities of even clearance yarns, that’s usually not a problem. 😉

  3. Nina says:

Thanks so much for letting us know. I have been accessing the Lion Brand site for years looking for patterns and never knew that they have a clearance site.

What do you think? Is Mikey bang on or out to lunch? Leave your thoughts here.
