Crochet Cruise 2015, Questionairre

Crochet Crowd

Free Patterns on Tuesdays are delivered to all registered Members of The Crochet Crowd.

We are strongly thinking of running a Crochet Cruise in 2015. Planning for this cruise must be done a year in advance which will begin in March 2014.

Factors for a Crochet Cruise are as follows:

  • Cost of the cruise tickets for each guest.
  • Cost of airfare & transportation to get to cruise terminal
  • Shipping, Storage, Promotional Products & Facility Fees to run the crochet workshops.
  • Sponsorship of supplies to make cruise fun and affordable to all.
  • Ease of cruise line cooperation in regards to booking, group planning and on board services.

During the preparation for our 2014 crochet cruise, though we sold out of tickets to meet our 120 capacity. We learned many people prefer different locations and different cruise lines.

If a crochet cruise is something you are interested in… please take a moment to select the answers that make sense.

Silly question, are spouses able to go on the cruise? I know he wouldn’t be able to attend the crochet events. Was just wondering, there was another group I was involved with and it was HIGHLY FROWNED UPON spouses attending since it was a “girls event”.

I have been crocheting since the age of 11. My mother and grandmother taught me how to crochet. I am 49 now and crocheting is a therapy for my disease. I have Lupus. So not being able to go outside a lot this is my favorite thing to do. I would love to go on a Crochet Cruise. I have never been on a cruise but what could be better…fun, friends, and crocheting!

I am so looking forward to going on another Crochet Cruise. The one planned for 2014 sounds so exciting and dream of crocheting and sun !
My 2 girls are going along this time. They don’t want to miss out. The 2013 cruise was not posted early enough to hand in on vacation time scheduling …. yay!

  4. I have been crocheting since age 8. Now at age 57, I am looking forward to retirement in approximately 10 years and crocheting more than I am able to now due to work demands. There is never enough time to crochet! I love it!
