The Crochet Crowd Website & Internet Browsers

Viewing The Crochet Crowd

The Crochet Crowd works best on Fire Fox and Chrome Internet Browsers

If you are using Internet Explorer when viewing The Crochet Crowd Website, you will already know that my site looks weird. Photographs are out of alignment and not working properly.

For whatever reason, it’s not you but it is Internet Explorer that is causing my website to look broken. I am hoping that whatever is causing this will fix itself.

The Crochet Crowd Website works best with Safari and FireFox Internet Browsers.

As a person who has used Internet Explorer since the very beginning, I switched over to Safari and FireFox in 2011. When designing my website, prior to the launch, I had no idea that my website would not work to its full potential when using Internet Explorer as I don’t use that browser any longer.

This is not an AD or for me to tell you to get rid of Internet Explorer. I’m merely sharing with you that if you think my website looks out of alignment, it could be due to your internet browser.

You can do a free download of FireFox. Since switching to FireFox, my internet doesn’t crash or hang up as often as Internet Explorer. I’m a huge nut for a lot of windows to be open as I bounce all over the net when doing my job here. FireFox can handle my overkill for what I do here with The Crochet Crowd. I’ve been very happy with it.

I used chrome and never have a problem with your website.

  2. Heidi Clymer says:

Chrome, I use Chrome and ever since I switched from IE ( the best used to get other browsers!) I have had no problems…

  3. Laraine says:

I use Firefox all the time. No problems seeing your site with it. I hope the issue with other browsers are fixed for you very soon.

I have noticed the same thing happening to my websites for clients. I tell them and everyone who comes in to the computer shop to use IE for security purposes like paying a bill or checking you banking account, IE has better security. For internet browsing, use one of the others. I’m a Chrome gal only because I can sue the google drive products and my favs and bookmarks is always the same on my work comp and home comp when I sign in. I love having my faves so handy wherever I am.

  5. Leslie Johnson says:

Not working so well for me using Chrome. Really disappointing.

  6. Sandi says:

I understand Mikey, I have the same problem w/some programs. I only use “Chrome” now,’cause it works better w/my Dell pc.
What’s up for a Wednesday???? Started a new project?
It is so disgustingly humid here, I do not venture outside. I’m trying to figure out pattern for Octagon afghan.
    Have a happy day,
    Sandi
