Ocean Waves Afghan – The Crochet Crowd

Ocean Waves Afghan

Crochet Pattern & Video Tutorial. Compliments of Red Heart Yarns.

Now available is a brand new web page, Ocean Waves Afghan – The Crochet Crowd. This new page has the free pattern, technical diagrams as well as my free video tutorial all included into one spot.

I figured this would help crocheters immensely instead of bouncing all over the place for the information. Enjoy

About Mikey, The Crochet Crowd

I am Mikey, owner of The Crochet Crowd Blog. I'm a 'hooker' at heart with the passion to crochet. I am from Ontario Canada and teach how to crochet online through YouTube Video Tutorials. From a simple idea and being at the right place and time in my life back in 2008, the concept of The Crochet Crowd was developed. I'm here to hook and share. How much of each color yarn did you use Mikey? Yours uses a different formulary of colors than the ones in the original pattern.

I enjoyed this challenge so much, that I am making smaller versions (lapghans).. I will be donating (gifting) them at Christmas to a local convalescent home. My gifts are presented to those who do not get visitors often – the ones who have been “left behind to die alone”. I really feel bad for them and have tried to “adopt” them. Sometimes they reject me because they have become so bitter. I pray for them and hope my gift brings just a little joy for the holiday and days thereafter.

Awesome. I loved this pattern. I made a full size pattern and a smaller baby blanket.

    • What a beautiful thing for you to do;I worked as a LPN in geriatrics for many years, and saw this happen to some senior citizens..its sad,and they are always so appreciative of the smallest ampunt of your time,or the most modest gift.God bless you!! hugs
