I love fooling with new yarn, and this week I finally pulled out a skein of Bernat Pipsqueak that I’d bought ages ago. I wasn’t sure what to do with it–washcloth, gloves, socks!! I thought a hat would probably be a good starter project so I broke out my size K hook and got to work!
I love how it turned out. For such a simple hat, you can literally take it a thousand ways. The most obvious would be cutesy animals…think bunnies, chicks, and bears, Oh My!
Needless to say, I now am in LOVE with this yarn! It’s soft, works up fast, and is a lot of fun to work with. It does shed a bit, but the upside is that it’s easier to work with than you think.
