In 2 more days, I will be flying Solo in the world of Creativity 100% instead of just a hobby. Remarkably, I’ve been able to create a following and global presence. Many emails come in daily requesting me to do more and more. People don’t realize this was a little mini hobby that is receiving global attention. Essentially there is only so much time in the day. I’m always running out of time.
I’m leaving a job where I have been for over 7 years. The money was great and some great perks here and there. Ultimately though, money doesn’t buy happiness. It buys comfort and standard of living only.
In the trucking world, the population is considered manly men where white males seem to have the hold. Women, people of colour, race, and people like myself are in this industry more and more. I feel like its a battlefield.
Here I am, swimming up stream constantly… sometimes I get a break and I get further upstream. With me creating a crafting community, I have created an identical river beside me but it’s flowing in the direction I want to go. Yet, I am in the river fighting to get upstream. You see, my rivers are flowing in two different directions.
When I get tired of swimming upstream, (Trucking World), I begin to give up and I get pushed downstream but then I again try hard to get back to where I was and maybe a bit further. Yet I can see the other river beside me going in the direction on its own and I don’t need to fight it. In the river, I see a water fall coming ahead where the stream I am fighting has a cliff high waterfall, I can’t fight that. I can’t go any further because I am unable to continue my path. The obstacle is too big for me to deal with. What do I do? I’m at the point I have to make a decision.
Eventually there’s an opening between the two rivers… The choice is… do I continue to fight going upstream or do I just take the opening and get into the river that is going in my direction without having the same obstacles.
Abraham-Hicks talks about not fighting the “Flow” or “Stream”. Why fight it, because balance and harmony can be found in the stream that is in the proper direction. Finding vibrational alignment with yourself and your path can dictate your own personal happiness.
In 2 days… I will be in the river going in the direction I wanna be in. It’s going to be an interesting journey as the scenery will be different and new challenges will face my way.
